How much water do you use daily?

Water helps make everything. That new pair of shoes might have used 2,000 gallons!

Most people in the United States use about 100 gallons of water each day.

People who do not have “running water” use less than five gallons of water a day. Every gallon must be carried. One gallon of water weighs 8.3 pounds. How much water would you use if you had to carry every drop?
